The Motherboard Is a Body is a project exploring the materiality of computational hardware — the motherboard at its core — as an entity that registers, processes, and transmits digital traces: a body of matter carrying both geological memory and a future already written into its data and strata. The project traces an abandoned motherboard in the forest of Hakadal, Norway, still processing data far beyond human presence, in a landscape of forgotten networks.
July 2026 — Residency at PENTADOMEN
For one week, I inhabit PENTADOMEN as an open residency, shaped day by day by shifting atmospheric, material, and spatial conditions. Working with external sonic input and internal processing, I record and corrupt frequencies live — a soundscape built from looping, archiving, sampling, and corrupted signal, partly improvised, always responsive to the space.
